This set of slides serves as an introduction to the topic of sustainable freight transport. The different modes of transport are compared with regard to sustainability and the opportunities and challenges for sustainable freight transport are discussed. In addition, the influencing factor of society, in particular consumer behaviour, will be discussed in more detail.
